What is the Indicator?

この指標について

Number of households threatened with homelessness (within 56 days) who were successfully prevented from becoming homeless for at least 6 months - rate per 10,000 households. This does not include the number of rough sleepers.

Information on the estimates of rough sleeping in Wales and by local authority is available from August 2020, in the monthly homelessness accommodation provision and rough sleeping publication.

What does the data say?

The Housing Act (Wales) 2014 included a number of changes to statutory homelessness legislation which were introduced on 27 April 2015. It is not possible to directly compare the information collected under the current with that under the previous legislation due to differences in the way cases of homelessness and threatened homelessness are assessed and recorded.
